Siivosin auton ja tajusin, että kumpikin autossa olleista sateenvarjoista oli rikkoontunut. Ja siis niin, että en keksinyt yhtään, miten niitä olisi voinut korjata.

Irrotin siis kummastakin kankaan, sillä siitä voi tehdä jotakin, voihan? Sitten vein ne ompelu/askartelupöydälle odottamaan ideaa. Ompelin jotain muuta, kun tyttö tuli ihmettelmään. "Mikä toi on?"

"Se on sateenvarjon kangas", vastasin ja hän tahtoi leikkiä mustalla.

I cleaned our car for sale and found not one,but  two broken umbrellas. At least I coundn't figure out, how I coud fix them. So I removed the fabric from both thinking they coud be used for something, righ? Then I took those to my sewing/kraft table to wait for that something... I was sewing sometgin else, when my girl came to look at them. "Whats that?"

"It's an umbrella-fabric", I replyed ans she wanted to play with the blac one.

"Minä olen lepakkoo!" (vähän vielä langanpäät lepattaa..)

"I'm a batty" (som threads stll hangin)

Kysyin toki, tahtooko hän siitä "oikeasti" viitan? No tietenkin!

I asked, if she wanted a real cape out of it. Of course!
